Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes, formerly America's Walk for Diabetes, is about changing the face of diabetes in our country…by raising funds to help find a cure and by walking a few miles to bring a greater awareness to this devastating disease. Fabulous…Chanel Mobile Art!!

Chanel Mobile Art, the project Karl Lagerfeld created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Coco Chanel’s iconic 2.55 quilted leather handbag, is now in the midst of a whistle-stop tour. It has already landed in Hong Kong and Tokyo, and after it touches down in New York, from October 20 to November 9, it will round out the tour in Moscow, London and Paris. The curving, spherical exhibit which can be found in Central Park is free to the public (with reserved, timed tickets) until Nov. 9. The exhibit houses a wide array of fabulous pieces of artwork from some twenty international artists that were inspired by the elements that give the Chanel bag its identity. Fabulous…Comme Des Garcons for H&M!!

The famously avant-garde Japanese label, spearheaded by design powerhouse Rei Kawakubo makes a move to H&M. The line will provide a range of both men's and womenswear, as well as childrenswear, accessories and a new unisex fragrance for the retailer. H&M's designer collaborations are the stuff of modern legend…capsule collections for the brand by Stella McCartney, Karl Lagerfeld, Viktor & Rolf and, most recently, Roberto Cavalli have proved instant sell-out successes. In honor of its Japanese roots, the collaborative line will launch exclusively at H&M in Tokyo in November before being rolled out worldwide a few days later. In light of the terrible plane crash that left Travis Barker and DJ AM badly burnt and four others dead, Barker’s Famous Stars and Straps clothing line is producing exclusive T-shirts in memory of the former Blink 182 drummer’s personal assistant Chris Baker and security guard Charles Still.
