Fabulous…Typography!!

Letters and numbers are perhaps the most iconic graphic elements of all…which is way it’s no surprise to me that it’s hitting heavy as a trend for Spring. Typography can project many types of moods depending on the design, they can call to mind a child-like charm of a classroom or the heraldry of old school signage. From straightforward alphabet to abstract assortment of characters…this trend offers a clean sensibility and a fresh new approach. Look for designs that are visually appealing with unique type design, arrangement, spacing, and characters. This look can be seen on almost anything from clothing, home accents and jewelry. Hieroglyphics are another interesting and creative way to play into this trend. I recommend keeping it simple…overdoing this trend will make you look like a kindergartener. Incorporate just a touch of this look into your wardrobe and you will look Fabulous!!
